TTY Mode

This mode allows you to use a TTY (for the deaf) machine together with your device.

Change the TTY mode

1. Tap Start > Settings > Personal tab > Phone > CDMA Services or GSM/UMTS Services tab.
2. Tap TTY Mode on the list of available services and then tap Get Settings.
3. Select the TTY Mode you want to use:
   • Full mode: Enables you to send and receive TTY characters.
   • VCO mode: Enables you to receive TTY characters and talk to the phone.
   • HCO mode: Enables you to send TTY characters and receive voice from the phone.
   • Off: Disables the TTY mode.
4. Tap OK.
